Joelle Hwang

Joelle is a first-year from New Jersey planning to concentrate in Philosophy and AFVS. She was born in Seoul and immigrated to the States at the age of two—since then, she has moved 9 times, living in 5 different states across the US. She’s happy to have called Jersey her home for most of her upbringing, where she was able to bond with the bustling Asian American community there and indulge in tasty Korean food. As a part of AAA, she’s excited to share her culture as well as learn from others. Outside of AAA, you can catch her doing videography work, facetiming her cat Miso, or sensibly procrastinating by contemplating the meaning of life.
